I’ve been a digital content producer for many years, freelancing my way through lots of great industry sectors. I love content writing because you’re always learning something new – each industry is different, and content writing gives you a peek into so many different worlds.

Digging for gold

My background is in arts and media, and my passion is uncovering stories.

I have a degree in art history and am currently completing a PhD in antiquities trafficking and art crime.

I’ve always wanted to be a writer. Either that or an archaeologist.

I love getting into a new job and digging down to discover the gold that makes each company and each director different. I love identifying that unique value and bringing it forth in writing so others can see it too.

Why Brilliant Digital?

What appeals to me about working with Brilliant Digital is being able to write full time as a digital content producer, without sacrificing the creativity that comes with working across multiple sectors and learning new things.

It means I can wake up every day excited to come to work, knowing I could be working on anything from aerospace to grass fed cattle to financial planning. I have an amazing team of digital marketing experts at my back, and lovely clients to work with.

It’s inspiring to know that I am using my talents to help people. It’s a fantastic feeling when our clients experience success, to know that I’ve been a part of something really important to them.

As a working, studying mum, I also love the flexibility and the incredibly supportive team environment.

Storytelling in particular resonates with me and my interest in art and history. Stories last the test of time. They are part of every oral and written culture ever recorded and have been for millennia.

People remember stories – we pass stories on to our colleagues, friends and even our children. We paint pictures and sculpt images about stories. This is true across all cultures and people groups.

I love telling our clients’ stories. Each one is different, and each one is fascinating. Storytelling really does work. It just takes our clients’ profiles to the next level. It engenders trust in their brand, their staff, their product – it adds an extra unique dimension to everything they do. I love it.
